Over the years, EQUAL has been a proud sponsor of the Pink Ribbon Breakfast and in 2008 we are excited to continue our support.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is inviting all Australians to host a Pink Ribbon Breakfast in October, around Pink Ribbon Day (Monday 27th October)

Breakfasts are a fun get-together of friends, family, workmates and the local community to celebrate the achievements of breast cancer research and raise funds. Your breakfast can be held in your home, workplace, local cafe - wherever suits you! If breakfast is not convenient for you, feel free to host a morning or afternoon tea, lunch dinner or supper.

The first 5,000 hosts to register will receive a Host Kit containing goodies generously donated by the breakfast sponsors, such as our Equal 50 sachets.

Remember no matter how big or small your breakfast, it will make a difference to many Australian lives.

Each year Equal and Café Biz join forces to reward Australia’s best coffee roasters with The Equal Golden Bean Roaster Competition. Held as part of a 4 day festival in Port Macquarie NSW, the event brings together over half of the nation’s specialty coffee roasters and creates a strong networking bond between those who participate.

The Rocks Aroma Coffee Festival is for lovers of coffee, fine chocolate, tea and spice. The festival is considered the largest coffee festival in the Southern hemisphere, featuring freshly roasted blends for as little as $1 per cup. There is also a Domestic Coffee Machine Expo, Lifestyle forecourt with free cooking demonstrations, a Turkish Spice Bazaar and all day live entertainment. The Festival will be held on Sunday 6 July at The Rocks, Sydney.

As a Festival sponsor, Equal will undertake a number of activities at the event. Keep your eyes open for the Equal promotional staff handing out entry forms and product.

Celebate the Bean

Make sure you're in fine form for a day of utter extravagance at this year's Celebrate the Bean – an all day, open-air coffee celebration with an abundance of sweet treats for chocolate fiends.

Arrive as the first grinders crank into gear to join Melbourne's best roasters and hottest baristas when everyone's favourite stimulant – coffee – takes over Waterfront City. Equal is excited to continue its involvement with this great event which features a showcase of Melbourne's top coffee companies, coffee machines and artisan coffee roasters. Make sure you are there to watch the Equal Latte Art smack down, where top baristas present their best latte art creations, and keep an eye out for the Equal Sweet Style team who will be roaming the festival taking photos and handing out instant prizes.
